Lately, every couple of weeks, I've noticed that Lucy will have an accident while sleeping. It's always a small amount, and I've only noticed it when she's napping during the day; if it happens at night, it must dry up before I can see it. She'll wake up, move off the couch, and there will be a small round spot. She doesn't seem to be aware that it's happening.
Today, it's happened three times! In the space of just a few hours. I've noticed it seems to happen when she's more active -and has therefore drank more water than usual. Lucy spent a couple of hours at the dog park this afternoon and drank a gallon when she came home. Otherwise, her outside schedule is normal.
Is this a typical symptom of a bladder infection? She seems 100% otherwise, do I need to take her to the vet? Frustrating and odd...
