My wife & I recently fostered three puppies for which pictures were posted a week or so back. Those puppies are fine and to date one has been adopted - two to go.
However, when we returned that group to Animal Humane they asked us to take two others even though due to travel, we could only have them for a week or so. We agreed.
Cute Yaaru & Bobbie (the boy) were sweet as can be. They were kissers & snugglers. They loved sitting under one of our pieces of lawn furniture while I read the newspaper. They seemed to healthy and had so much energy.
We had them for exactly one week when the little girl (Yaaru) got sick. It turned out that there was Parvo in their litter. Yesterday we just found out that Yaaru had to be euthanized due to that terrible disease. Bobbie, too, has gotten sick. Since he was the smaller & weaker his chances are almost nil.
We hardly knew them, but yet they were so sweet that my heart is breaking over their loss.....
I am only glad that we were able to give them a little bit of love in their short lives.
