I personally think RR's are the best breed of dog (for me!). And since I take them both with me quite often, I get many questions when we're out and about. I think the average dog owner won't devote the time or energy to raise these dogs right, I wish the article had mentioned that! I've gotten to the point where I say they're great dogs, but immediately mention how they didn't just end up like that and talk about the extensive time and energy involved that led to the two well-behaved dogs standing there! I feel like it's my responsibility to the breed when I'm exposing people to well-trained and handsome ridgies that I not interest someone in the breed without informing them of the necessary commitment!
