We have the same problems with Tamba.....huge welts all over him! We have had some luck with something we got from the vet, it's a gel intended for dogs and horses produced by Virbac out of Ft. Worth Texas (800) 338-3659. I put some of the gel into a soft dog brush then just brush him all over before we are out for any length of time. It has really help. He still gets an occsional bite, but not like before. Good luck!
