Do any of you dog experts maybe know the mix??

My brother just got a labrador/mix puppy.
They told him it's mixed with some kind of hound. The first photo reminds me of my baby but the others I'm not too sure of. The widows peak(that's what I call them) throws me off.

Any guesses? I mean it's all guessing but still I am sure some of you are more familiar with breeds than I, that's for sure!
