It seems a lot of folks around here have more than one dog and/or more than 1 RR. Lucy is now 16 months old, and the idea of getting a second Ridgeback has come up a time or two in casual conversation with my husband. It's merely in the idea stage right now, but I thought I'd do some inquiring...
Our biggest concern with Lucy is jealousy. Being the sole dog in the house, she's definitely the queen bee. If I even LOOK at another dog at the park, she comes barreling into me, demanding attention. Bringing a second dog into the house would make this an interesting dynamic to deal with!
But aside from losing my own sanity (how quickly I seem to have forgotten those hard puppy days of housebreaking, and crate training, and crying in the middle of the night) what problems have you faced by introducing a new pup to the pack? What are the ups and downs to having more than one dog?
