Hello All,
Well I met Lexi last night and she was the greatest! Lexi's mom said that the RR rescue did get back to her and since there were no foster available at this time they wouldn't be able to take her, plus she is ridgeless so they didn't know if she was a purebred. I was also told by Lexi's mom that if she wasn't placed by Fri. her husband was going to take matters into his own hand and get rid of her! I couldn't let that happen. So I asked to meet.
My husband & I went out to meet her and like I said before - she was great. Happy, friendly, beautiful. Can't give enough praise. So we decide to bring out one of our males. Unfortunately she HATED him. I saw the sweetest girl transform into a very protective - get away from me sassy girl. (To put it lightly).
Ok, this is not going to work - now what do we do?? We still have a Fri. deadline. Just then her mom calls to tell her that if we weren't going to take her - one of her cousins (who thank goodness has no other animals) would take her.
We all then gave a sigh of relief.
Like I said before. When there was no other dog around she couldn't of been happier. She totally just loves people.
