I was at a party and made it to the TV set just in time to watch Big Brown win and was so happy being he's a L.I. owned T.B. and then walked away from the TV to get going home. When I got home and first read about Eight Belles it was right here on the internet, my heart sank. That poor filly, what pain she must of felt and so sad for her life to be over so suddenly. So tragic. You enjoy watching the race, but that pounding is such stress on the joints of the horses.........May she rest in peace. Just too sad.
