Dear Friends,
Thank you all again for your kind words and prayers during this sad time of Mort's loss. We all miss Mort and find it very sad, lonely and difficult to be without him. Oliver has had a hard time as well. While Mort was in the hospital, Ollie would eat, play in the dog park and then go into his crate and stay there for the rest of the day and come out only to do his business and eat dinner. He always stayed with me on the couch at night to watch TV and be petted. He stopped doing this as well. The vet said he was grieving and would eventually be OK. It's only been these past few weeks that Ollie has returned to the couch and doing his usual routine. It's good to have him back. Now he has a new puppy to contend with as we have one of his 10 week old sons living with us. Stanley is as cute as can be and a pest as far as Ollie is concerned. I'll keep you posted on his progress. Thank you again for your kind thoughts. Joyce
