Similar experience with Savannah in the past. Not cat food, but massive quantities of dog food. We walked into the emergency vet clinic and this cute little girl came up to us and said "is you dog going to have puppies?". If you've ever seen our athlete-thin Savannah, you'd understand how distended her stomach was to prompt that question.
In any case, a similar ending. They induced vomiting which was followed by two nights of paint-peeling, eye-watering doggie-gas. But everything worked out OK.
