Wow, how scary!! I hope Lu is feeling better this morning, and I hope you got some sleep!!
I went through something similar with Kibu a few weeks ago- my parents fed him crawfish (don't ask!!) and he filled up with gas. I came in and saw a distended belly and nearly panicked- I palpated his abdomen, he was painful, and no output when we went outside. I told my mom we were going up to my clinic (it's ER too) if he didn't start farting in 5 minutes. As soon as I said that, here they came. He passed gas for a *minimum* of 12 hours- it was horrendous, but I was quite thankful for it!!
Bacterial prostatitis can be brought on by bladder infections- we see it concurrently fairly regularly. Of course, it can be caused by other things as well. Question- did your emergency clinic not prescribe a whole round of antibiotics?
I hope the poor pups start feeling better soon- tell them to quit scaring you like that!
