I was at a confrence last year in Orlando, and my plane was late, so Nintendo had a personal driver come and pick me up... from the Mears cab company! The cab company thought I was part of their Mears "clan" so they brought one of their nicest cars to pick me up. I think they figured out I wasn't a "royal" Mears by the way I was dressed (had to wear a Nintendo shirt to the confrence), but man, that car was nice! And of course, there's always the race car driver comments "Hey, are you the famous race car driver?" I've always have said no, but have been mucho tempted to say yes at places like Reno to see if it could get me some comps Oh, and my Dad has kind of a removed childhood - so he hasn't been in contact with his mother or father - so who knows - we mayu be relate after all...
