Well another year has come for new mares from Ravenwood to join us here in Michigan. All mares arrived safe and in good spirits. I must add-another wonderful review for Kay and LJ for their excellent transportation of our girls! All girls have settled in great as Ravenwood horses do....We are very lucky to add these wonderful mares to our broodmare band and thank Jane and Al for all their support and wonderful Arabians!!!
On another note- we just got home from a Horse Expo here in Michigan where a Ravenwood mare, R. Dena and her filly ("Rouge")by our Ravenwood stallion- Saiga, were representing the Egyptian Arabian. I must say- for a mare that has only been to one show previously with us - this mare was flawless in proving that the Egyptian Arabian is and always will be the most wonderful and versatile Arabian available!!! We must also brag on our Rouge-where she also showed how smart and beautiful a 4 month old girl could be!!! She was wonderful! She took in all the noise,people, other horses and loud noises without a hitch!! This girl really put on a show too. She has proved again, how the many years of breeding by Jane and Al are producing the epitome of the Egyptian Arabian!
These girls really made this weekend well worth the time and energy envolved by enlightening others on the fantasic breed!!!
