Hi Jane,
As I said today, after the other night talking to you on the net about watching the tape, I did decide to start on it and watch a little every night before I went to bed...as the tape came on I was watching the geese swim in the pond and as you were taking it across the mountains and so on...and started watching the stallions...and it made me homesick for the old place of yours...in Arlee, as I watched the stallions....Qahtahn is really very pretty and moves nicely....Key looks very nice in the videos also...I was noticing the dates when the videos were taken of these horses...and wonder if the move affected some of the stallions...Like Flag who had been raised at the other place....along with the others.....Majesty of course is such a beautiful horse...as of course Replica and Monee ( very lovely) and the rest of them....all very very beautiful............................I was getting sleepy about that time and started to turn it off and decided to watch one more

Jane I dont know what to say..I sat straight up in bed..!!!!!!!!!!! and became very wide awake.......I could not believe what I was seeing...I have been around Arabian horses for a long time...and I have seen some very wonderful and beautiful horses...I went to the Fair in Reno and saw Fame VF as a 5 year old...also Huckleberry Bey...and Sheila Varians Kheepsake...and I could go on and on...for years of the National Champions I have seen and all the ones in the World magazine and the Times for years and I can honestly say that Mone is the most beautiful horse I have ever seen in my life....he literally stopped my heart, he is undescribably beautiful beyond all descriptions...I felt like Bambi as a baby when he met his father the great Stag........When you meet Mone even on a video you become very humble immediatly, and realize that there is something very great standing before you that makes you walk with a newer humility than you have ever done before...
He is unimaginable, and the most perfect Arabian I have ever met...I was so blown away by him that all day the next day I was not the same person...all I could do was think of him and didnt want anything to interupt my thoughts...I wanted solitude and quietness...to be sure that none of that beauty escaped me..God put everything he had into Mone and he dripped with the Richness of Heaven, the kind of horse that you would think he would ride when he returns...absolutely uncomprehendable beauty...
I dont have the perfect Arabian....YOU DID!! and if this colt grows up to even be half the horse Mone was than I will be blessed...
Now I understand the meaning of Ravenwood...and what it is all about......and I also understand why you didnt want to go on any further when Mone left....to think he was that close to me and I never came and saw him...and since I have met his children I have longed to see him...Now I know where Harmone got her lovely body, and she carries that beautiful head in her genes to put on her foals as she did this colt from Monee...
I went out the next day and took Junior aside and told him of his Grandfather and that he had to live up to a lot...he listened closely as he likes me talking to him...it was as if he was drinking it all in.....he was capering around tonight with his tail in the air and trotting off the ground, and doing that look at me stuff...and he honestly took my breath away....and all I could think about was Mone...He is very dark but not black...right now he is a hershey color....dark Seinna or Dark Umber...but not the normal bay color.....anyone who sees him thinks he is phenominal....which brought me to another name.........Phenomone only it might be hard to figure out it was a take off from Phenominal....I wish I had the video in my hands tonight .this foal is truely incredible......
I used to wonder why Molly left me and why it happened...so young...as Im sure you have Mone...but now I know why...had she lived , and your Mone they would not have touched as many people as they have , I believe they were used as an inspiration for people to tune into God and appreciate his goodness and touch them with thier lives to connect to the creator and build strength in Christians to uplift others, and what a way to connect with others through a horse or a dog...Mone has touched lives and still touches lives...Molly has touched 100s of lives and still does every day..we are blessed by this and other are blessed and inspired by them...they are being used by God..even tho it is hard for us to give them up, they are his and were loaned to us and given to us as a gift....to return unto the father....so think how much he loved you and I to do that for us....how many times did you look at him and admire the beauty of him....??and how many times were you inspired by him and the people that saw him.....here he is gone and he has stirred my heart with his beauty like no other horse ever could....I honor and respect him in the highest...
and now I know why you Breed,.........Thank you for letting me be a part of the Mone Legend....and history....a horse that was an undiscovered treasure and should have been a National Champion.....I salute Mone.....
