Now that I've found this board, thought I'd share my special boy with everyone. I bought Cheddar in 1983 as a 3 year old, he is now 20 and still the love of my life. He had been neglected before I bought him, the couple that bought him from Jane divorced, and Cheddar got the short end of the deal. It took me several years to track down Jane and get more information on Cheddar, but now we keep in touch. Cheddar is truly a treasure; he's by RG AL Mone and out of Ravenwood Kasse Surprise. He's a beautiful palomino gelding. He's always been a bit timid and at the bottom of the pecking order, I made is day last winter when I purchase a weanling colt and put them together... Cheddar finally has someone he can boss around and he is loving it... Cheddar and I have many miles behind us and many more to come, he still has occasion to buck (half-heartedly) and loves to move cows.
