Thanks for answering my post about RAVENS GALIN. I am looking for information on her because she is the dam to my 19 year old, black mare, HISANS TAHIYA. As horses go, she is the love of my life! LOL....she is not a man's horse, although she tolerates my husband, at least on the ground. You can demand nothing of her, you must ask, if all but firmly at times.
We are expecting our first foal from her at any time now. Which is part of the reason I was looking for info on the farm she was bred at. A friend looked her up on DataSource and its recorded that she's only had one black colt, by FIRST VINTAGE. That was in 1994. I just wondered if she had trouble foaling, or carrying a foal to term. We've made sure she's in good shape, had her shots and has been in as little stressful situations as possible. I have so far seen no problems with her at all. But it seems like she's been pregnant forever!
