10 mth old rat terrier needs home

I have a ten month old purebred rat terrier who needs a home. He is very energetic and I am not home enough to spend the quality time with him that he deserves. He can become over protective of children so I am not sure that a home with children would be a good idea. He needs a lot of attention. He is neutered, up to date on shots and on frontline.
