Yes, Lawman has been tested to not carry a chestnut gene so is considered homozygous black. Bred to a black mare the foal will be black. Lawman has been bred to a chestnut Appy mare that is due the end of March. A black Appy foal is expected from this mating. We welcome your visit to see Lawman.
