Posted by Andrea Brown It's been awhile since we talked, and I thought you might enjoy an update on RC BLACK MAGIC. Well, Magic is everything I could ever want or ask for in a stallion! Even at 2 yrs he is easy to handle, has yet to show any signs of bad temper, actually he loves everyone and has even been known to play "fetch" (With his bucket) with my husband Ron. He amazes everyone he meets with his size (He stands a true 15.2 at 2 yrs!) his sweet temperment and incredible comfirmation and color. As I had said before we only bred him to a limited number of mares all ours. He so far has live covered 2 mares 1 time each and those 2 covers resulted in 2 confirmed pregnacy's! We collected him for the first time about a week ago and he did beautifully, his sperm count was 400-500 and amazed our AI person who said she rarely saw that large a count in a 2yr old! We will ultrasound the mare we AI'd that day soon and are hoping for a perfect record (3 for 3?) We are very excited in offering him to the public next year and have already received several inquiries about him. I have begun his ground work and he seems to accept both saddling, biting up and recently ground driving like a pro. When I mention he is a black rabicano and a Tabbou son people become more interested and add that he is out of a black Khemosabi granddaughter they grow even more interested.
