Oh brother!! I didn't even want to ask for guesses yet, because I was afraid of what i might hear.
Lani had 10 her first time, with one demise ... my first litter and I didn't know how to help Lani out and she didn't have any experience either, so the first big girl stayed in the birth canal too long and didn't make it with my resuscitation attempts. NINE is still huge. Her second litter was NINE and all did well.
It's double the work, but it is also double the joy!! I am still gonna hope for a little less joy than your prediction forecasts. LOL!
