Introduce on neutral ground. meaning ground that Gimli doesnt 'own'. Always introduce on a loose leash as to not give either dog a false stance. Take a deep breath, dogs can sense nerves. Look for ridged stances like hackles raised, ears back, stiffening of legs, just general disapproval. But dont be too quick to judge as some dogs like to set ground rules and then are perfectly fine.
If gimli has been socialized you shouldnt have any problems. If you are too nervous you may want to enlist a trainer/behaviorist for help with the intro.
