How do you use Rescue Remedy? more...

I have the Rescue Remedy spray with alcohol(not the pet formula). I would like to try it on 15# Jingle who does great in dog school until we have to separate into different rooms & she noisily stresses out. How much should I give her, when, and how? The web site talks of rubbing it on her ears, but doesn't say how long it takes to become effective. I also don't want to wrestle her to spray into her mouth. Any advice would be appreciated.
