Just make sure you make it wide enough. If it's too narrow the part in need of being covered can slip out:>)) Use velcro to attach at the top. You can make it out of almost any fabric, just make sure it has some stiffness to it, line it with flannel, cotton, fleece etc and use womens liners so you can change frequently.
