because of the possibility of distemper. I don't think the new dog has it, or there would be sneezing, green discharge, etc.
I believe the new dog just had hookworms, and that's easily treated.
If the new dog isn't coughing, you're probably in the clear with kennel cough too.
If the new dog had parvo, you would notice a terrible, terrible odor, and he would go downhill fast with vomiting, diahrrhea and listlessness. It's pretty unmistakeable.
Whew! I think you'll be okay!!!
