Turns out that Leahs' problems and hallucinations were from a reaction to her antibiotics. Never saw that one coming, and her vet said he had never had such a severe reaction to any antibiotic he had prescribed before! Itchy, yes....groggy, yes....but not full out panic attacks and hallucinations. We took her off them completely and this morning I have my dog back again! Alert, playful, and unafraid. So watch your dogs carefully for stuff like this.
