than younger dogs. You should speak to your vet to see if there are any concerns that might warrant a change otherwise, if you are feeding a high quality food, there's probably no reason to switch. For instance, Canidae is formulated for all life stages but because it is not formulated specifically for seniors, it doesn't contain glucosimine or chondroitin. their platinum formula is for seniors or overweight dogs so it does contain them. It is perfectly fine for Joe to eat either formula.
