Bill and I just got back from Ga., it's late, but I wanted to share our day.

We stopped in Chattanooga and GOT TO SEE Mikey. He's been moved from Trauma Unit. He'd had an MRI earlier today and was sore from being moved from bed to bed. At times he was groggy.

When he saw Bill and I, he lit up and tried to SIT UP. Bill and he joked a bit. Mike started to laugh and said it hurt....his lungs are bruised and has some cracked ribs...so laughing must be kept to a minimum. Mike looked remarkably good.

He had some get well cards taped on his wall, and pictures of Bonnie on each side of his bed.

We told him the Races and Show are under control, that so many people are working for him, and all he needed to do was get well, that so many people LOVE him. He smiled.

On to Rockmart...Helen is doing well. The Funeral home was packed with friends and family. Many of the AHT Florida people are there. A friend of Bonnie's brought his AHT inside...of course we all loved that! Miss Helen carried the dog to see Bonnie. Bonnie was resting peacably and looked beautiful.

There was a report of a live dog running around in a woman's yard but had not been caught yet. Tomorrow traps are going to be set (humanely) to try and capture the dog. It's reported to be a terrier.
