Have 1967 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2dr. with 330c.i. H.O.,4bbl., 2 speed auto. tranny. I installed new wiring from the switch on the top of the engine (next to firewall) to the plug on the tranny. I also wired in indicator lights on the dashboard to show if power is going to the variable vane solenoid or the down-shift solenoid. The car doesn't always go into "passing gear" when I floor it & the indicator light goes on at low speeds, then shuts off. It does come back on at higher demand when tromped on, but the power kick just isn't always there, only at times. When the torque converter does work properly, the car flies. Any ideas on something I may be missing? Any input will be appreciated. Jim
