With a stock 330 (or any stock motor for that matter) there won't be any real power change, up or down, with headers or stock manifolds. 2 in pipes and flowmasters on you should have all the free flow you need. Any muffler shop should be able to bend you up some duals.

: AI have a '67 CS Conv, 330 Ci, with some kind
: of headers ( may have been reworked)( long
: collectors) and dual exhausts.. 2" and
: flowmasters 40's .
:
: The left header has been extensively beaten
: upon to clear the frame and suspension, so
: much that at least 2 of the downtubes are
: seriously compressed. The car runs fine,
: never an over heating problem, plugs run
: clean and even, though the right side brake
: line runs against the frame and very close
: ( 1/8th inch) to the down tube, I have been
: on 200 mile trips and there have never been
: problems with the brakes. The headers even
: clear the starter.
: The question is... has anyone ever converted
: a stock left side exhaust manifold for use
: as a dual exhaust... What is involved in the
: conversion? Will I lose or gain any
: significant benefits from converting over
: the questionable duals I currently have?
: I don't wish to get new custom headers due
: to the expense, but might be interested in a
: left side manifold, if available and cheap.
:
: Thanks for you input.
