I recently acquire a 67 cutlass with a 330 that has been sitting for almost 20 years. Before attempting to start I replaced oil, oil filter, belts, hoses, flushed radiator and put in new antifreeze, new thermostat, new HEI distributor with new plugs and wires, new Edelbrock 1406 carb. (old one was bad). I also put marvels mystery oil in the cylinders. After a tough time of even getting in to turn over we finally were able to but it goes very slowly like the battery is dead. The battery is a new one and not dead so that is not issue. With plugs removed it spins a little easier but not too freely. With plugs in it has a tough time turning over and won't quite start. I do have spark as we checked the plugs. I was planning on a rebuild anyway but was hoping we could at least get it started. Any help or tips would be great.
