brake Fluid in Conv. pump

I have 67 conv and have to replace leaky top cylinders. manual calls for GM Supreme Brake Fluid #11. ??? i cannot find any specs for conversion. What have others used in place of #11. Dot -3 or 4?. Is it compatible of must I drain the system??
