I have a 67 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a 400ci/auto. It has not been driven much since 95 and I purchased the vehicle 9 months ago. There has been some leaking from the engine and trans and I thought the gaskets hav dried out some. I had put approx 300 miles on it and she runs smooth and quite. All of a sudden oll started blowing out from the oil filter adapter so I replaced the gasket. The first thing that I check in was crankcase pressure and there is no blow-by and the pcv ssystem including hose is good. I hooked up a manual oil pressure gage and it reads 50psi at idel and increased to 75psi at 3000rpm. I'm thinking it must be the oil pump...Am I on the right track or what advise can you give me.
