CLutch linkage question

The clutch rod end and the top of the Z bar on the 67 4 speed I am working on won’t connect correctly. I am wondering if I have an incorrect Z bar or clutch rod. The bushing in the Z bar top end is too wide to allow the cotter pin hole to come through the bushing. The end of the clutch rod is only about ½ inch long but seems to be correct from pictures I’ve seen. Can anyone with a 4 speed describe that connection and bushing or best case, send me a picture of how it should be.
