Help me solve what is to me a mystery. On the machined pad at the end of a C head I have is stamped "P 103742". It's where the engine ID should be on a 67. I understand only 67 C's were stamped there, but I can't find any reference to this "P" prefix code. Also,note there is no suffix letter and a six digit only series beginning with "1" instead of "2". Does anyone know what this ID designates?
