In your thread there I notice that the only responder is Nathan. And I note that you offered to hug him for his post – and THAT is as important as Harbur’s heresy to YOU because Natthan has not studied Biblical teachings well enough to word his post such that he is not presenting polytheism (which his post does). So let me quote his post, and out of having studied Biblical theology formally, let me quote his post here and show you where it is presenting polytheism.
I agree these workers need to have their Godhead teaching re-examined or study it more carefully.... They don't fully understand who are the Godhead. They don't understand the word of God El is singular and the word God Elohim is plural= Godhead; Father, Christ and Holy Spirit.
The Father is the Most High God in heaven.
The Christ is God, who came from heaven to live in the body of Jesus/man to die for our sins, and he is still under submission to God the Father for eternity
The Holy Spirit is also God. One Godhead but exists as 3 separate beings. ONE in Unity, ONE in Spirit and ONE in Love. ALL three are working in harmony with each other. Each Godhead has important role to fill in our Salvation.
Para 1 – “Father, Christ and Holy Spirit” – “Christ” is the Greek translation of “Messiah.” And Jesus the Messiah is the Father’s “Son,” not just our Savior as the Messiah. So the Godhead is not “Father, Christ and Holy Spirit” but rather Father Son and Holy Spirit.
Para 2 – “The Father is the Most High God in heaven.” – The Father is the only God there is in heaven or on earth. He is not the “Most High God,” which implies other lesser gods – i.e., polytheism.
Point #2 – “…and he is still under submission to God the Father for eternity” – this opposes Scripture which states that the Father turned everything over to His Son, who in fact created ‘everything made that was made’. Jesus the Messiah is as much God as the Father, not a second lesser god – i.e. as in polytheism. That is why the creeds were careful to identify Jesus as “fully God and fully man.”
Para 3 – “Godhead but exists as 3 separate beings.” Plus “Each Godhead has important role to fill in our Salvation” – clearly Nathan presents three gods – polytheism.
And Nathan also needs to take his own advice and “have his Godhead teaching re-examined or study it more carefully.”
Hug him anyway Magpie – he is a lot closer to Biblical theology than Harbur or any of the workers I have seen write or speak on the topic of the deity of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. But pray for Nathan because unless he recognizes the real Savior, he is headed for a lot of trouble for himself (not anyone else).
