The answers you get from workers can be all over the place, depending on who is the worker, who you are perceived to be, the attitude/"spirit" they detect in you and what is the situation. If a deceptive answer will get you into or to continue to submit yourself to meetings, then there are those who are quite adept at responding enthusiastically that will leave one (particularly newbies) thinking that Two by Twoism is every bit as Trinitarian as any other church out there. There are a few who will honestly state the acceptable doctrine (particularly to those who should have grasped the doctrine by now), and I'd be more concerned about those for whom lying seems to be no problem.
I agree that Two by Twoism promotes a false Christ, another Jesus, and a perfidious gospel. It is not the only church/way to do so - not even the most subtle or effective.
When we start relying on men to lead us, to teach us, to discern for us, to save us, and/or to think for us, then we have become followers/disciples of men rather than of God. Being a follower of men seems natural for the average born-and-raised Two by Twos who have become indoctrinated to view Jesus as an ordinary man ("divine" in the sense of godly and coming from God, but otherwise little more than the pattern at the top of the worker pyramid).
When we find truth in a system, in teachings of men, in traditions, in explanations of rather than actually in God's Word, in our feelings (what some mistake for "spirit"), in our experiences, in examples, in rationalized short-cuts, in our own hearts then we likewise have set up something in place of the Bible and in place of Christ Jesus. Those are comfortable cocoons into which one can slip that can easily turn into snares - in or out of the Twos. Thankfully, for the living and growing, they won't remain comfortable for long.
