Even unbelievers are expressing expectation of the destruction of this world.
Just the natural occurrences warn that this planet is ‘shivering.’ There has never been a time in history when there have been so many earthquakes and volcano eruptions spread all around the globe. Weather seems to be gone nuts, floods, slides and all manner of natural disasters.
Revelations 22 in its last few verses says,
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
22:20 The one who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
And add to the unbelievers fear of global destruction the vast expectation of many believers of the soon return of Jesus Christ - again the last verses of Revelation say,
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say: “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wants it take the water of life free of charge.
It is not a time to be sleeping regarding these signs – unbelievers have no hope while believers are excited in anticipation, trying the best they can to GIVE unbelievers the means and by those means, good reasons for hope.
