2x2s have always played in ignorance with the meanings of English words. And that is how they manage to convince each other that women can be apostles. Here is a very simple alternative to continuance of that 2x2 ignorance game – education simply in looking up the words in an English dictionary:
noun: minister; plural noun: ministers; noun: minister of religion; plural noun: ministers of religion
a member of the clergy, especially in Protestant churches.
synonyms: clergyman, clergywoman, cleric, ecclesiastic, pastor, vicar, rector, priest, parson, deacon, father, man/woman of the cloth, man/woman of God, churchman, churchwoman; More
informalreverend, padre, Holy Joe, sky pilot
"our minister visited me in the hospital"
o the superior of some religious orders.
noun: minister general; plural noun: minister generals
(in certain countries) a head of a government department.
"Britain's defense minister"
synonyms: member of the government, cabinet minister, secretary of state, undersecretary
"a government minister"
noun: apostle; plural noun: apostles
1. each of the twelve chief disciples of Jesus Christ.
o any important early Christian teacher, especially St. Paul.
synonyms: disciple, follower More
"the twelve apostles"
missionary, evangelist, proselytizer
"the apostles of the faith"
o the first successful Christian missionary in a country or to a people.
"Kiril and Metodije, the apostles of the Slavs"
Now, there is an element of "service" to the English meaning of "minister" so that a "ministry" is an act or organization of "ministry."
And women have always held great positions in "ministry" being the child-bearers -- they "minister" to their children. But they do not "apostle" to their children. And in the church women have always "ministered" to others - the Bible speacks of them in such "ministry" -- but the Bible does not have women "apostling" in the church.
2x2s love to use their undereducated status to make "ministry" mean the same as "apostle(s) for the simple reason that there is zero support in the Bible for the apostolic "ministry" of 2x2ism that included female "apostles" before they even tried to justify such "ministers."
