A lady confronted these preachers regarding the identity of Jesus Christ after this first "Lecture" was finished:
¥ Joe Lewis - "We don't believe that Jesus is God."
¥ The Lady - "'I and the Father are one.'" "manifested - it does say he was God manifested in the flesh."
¥ Joe Lewis - "Ya, and we believe that he still is today - in us too.
While I was a 2x2 it was a regular part of workers’ sermons at gospel meetings that workers claimed to be “the word made flesh,” using John 1:14 as their basis of that claim. And since workers have been confronted regarding that claim time and time again over many years, the continued use of that false claim by them in 1996 shows that if they have since ceased to preach that claim, it is likely to merely be covered up by silence in public 2x2 meetings. The 2x2 workers are and always believed and shown themselves to be Antichrists (“in place of Christ"). And their claim to be "the word made flesh" is only one of their similar claims, from which 2x2 workers convince 2x2s that they have authority over 2x2s (without which claims they would have NO authority over anyone at all).
Quite simply and very clearly it is written, “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:5)
