Thank you for your input, and may God bless you all.
TRINITY
The doctrine of the Trinity is implicit rather than explicit. (Unger's Bible Dictionary)
Dear friends, after all these years of searching for the truth in Scripture, I have found that even the most highly revered Biblical Scholars of all time resort to mere guesswork when it comes to subjects that can be understood only with the ‘Spiritual’ mind. They use scripture out of context, to ‘imply’ on something that is NOT there, and then they build on those implications, and add a couple of hundred years to that and you have ‘The Trinity’.
Just look ate the ‘theory of evolution’ and how it is implied in the new school books as if it was ‘fact’. This is because Satan knows that ‘a little leaven leavens the whole lump’, so by removing the word; ‘theory’ or at least limit its use, over very short time it becomes ‘fact’ in the minds of all who walk in darkness. But NOT to those who seek to know the truth.
Look at these verses;
1 Tim 3:16
“16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.”
The words; “God was manifested in the flesh” is used by scholars to somehow ‘prove’ that Jesus is God. But to us who are spiritually minded, we understand that ‘manifested’ means something that is ‘obvious, clear to see or understand’. Jesus came to help us (those who desire to) understand something that is un-comprehendible and unseen, by making it ‘clear to see’.
Since “no one has seen God” and cannot be seen by man, no name can describe Him, so who better then the one who came out of Him; ‘The Only Begotten of the Father’ do this work? He was found to be the perfect manifestation of God to man.
Look at this: Heb 5:7-9
7 In his life on earth Jesus made his prayers and requests with loud cries and tears to God, who could save him from death. Because he was humble and devoted, God heard him. 8 But even though he was God's Son, he learned through his sufferings to be obedient. 9 When he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him,
How can anyone squeeze ‘trinity’ into the meaning of these verses; “8 But even though he was God's Son, he learned through his sufferings to be obedient”? If the Son is God, why would ‘God’ be obedient to himself? And to think that God needs to ‘learn’ something ‘through his suffering’ is ludicrous.
Jesus was, is and always will be Jesus, and NOT some triune part of Himself. This, my friends, will leave God as the great ‘I am THAT I Am’, a God with no name.
When Jesus went back to His Father, he remained Jesus the ‘Only Begotten’ of the Father. He did not ‘melt’ back somehow into God (as many describe ‘trinity’ as being ‘water, ice and steam’).
Just as Eve remained Eve, and when a man marries a woman and consummates that marriage, they don’t blend into each other, even though Jesus said; “The two shall become one”.
Be careful, Jesus is NOT another God, and when he says; “I and the Father are one”, proves that. And so does many, many other scripture verses. As I said before, God is like the sun, and Jesus is the moon that reflects the light of the sun. God is God and Jesus is happy to remain the one reflecting Gods (His Fathers) light to all. And because of this; “All things have been delivered to Me by My Father.” Matt 11:27 An honor well earned.
Here is a good one; Luke 20:41-44
And He said to them, "How can they say that the Christ is the Son of David? 42 Now David himself said in the Book of Psalms: 'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, 43 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."' 44 Therefore David calls Him 'Lord'; how is He then his Son?"
NKJV
Jesus is the Son of the Most High God and will remain His Son. Let’s open our eyes and see; “The Lord (God the Father) said to my Lord (Jesus the only begotten Son of God) sit at my right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
You must start with a ‘new wine bottle’ to be able to understand all this ‘new wine’ (Spiritual knowledge), otherwise, Jesus said that the old bottle (your head with your old physical thinking) will burst.
In Jesus name:
Odon
