It is small comfort to a 14 y/o with a lot of questions at a great time of change in your life! But you are reaching the age of "responsibility"! I'm amazed that professing at age 7 was even encouraged.....usually someone that young professes for all the wrong reasons! Those being because their friends or acquaintances profess or mostly because they want to please their parents, grandparents and/or workers! Though I professed at the age of 11 y/o, I can look back and see that I professed because I sure didn't want to die and go to hell! But most of all because it was expected of me! I lost out of the way for over 20 yrs. because I didn't have the right spirit in me to start with and someone who'd been professing a lot longer then me offended me greatly! I felt guilty because I felt like if there was something in me that would make another professing person act like that, then I was lost to start with! Satan had a field day with me!
As you've been counseled to continue reading and praying, I can tell you that that's what I had to learn about this way called The Truth! IT ISN'T A RELIGION, it's about a family, it's about the Family of God! And we are all brothers and sisters in and through Christ's blood! None of us are any better then the next one! Those who are first shall be last, and those who are last shall be first...Jesus taught to be a servant, He came to the earth to be a servant, a ministering spirit! Still is!
