Hey Traci...sorry for the late response. I hope that your baby is sleeping and eating better for you. It can be a struggle I know. My little one had a horrible time with reflux also. She is now four and doing much better but it took until she was about 2. Your speech therapist is right...an hour long feeding is too long. He will start burning those precious calories you are getting into him. Do you use the fastest setting on the haberman? Are you squeezing it for him? I would be glad to chat with you anytime or see if I could help give you some feeding tips. I will put my email at the end of this message. Feel free to contact me. Just know that it does get better and there is light (and some sleep!!) at the end of the tunnel...hang in there!

: I have a son with pierre robin syndrome and
: cleft pallette! He is 9 weeks old and I have
: a sleeping question. I have been sleeping on
: the recliner with him on my chest for the
: past nine weeks. I have tried him in the
: cradle on his belly with no success. I am
: exhausted between his hour long
: feedings(with haberman) and sleeping in a
: recliner. Nervous about his breathing and
: reflux at night. Sleeps well in swing during
: day but nervous with that at night! Would
: like to try a wedge at night in cradle! How
: do your kids sleep the best? Would love any
: tips! Would love to try to get some sleep
: inbetween feedings! Any other babies take
: this long to eat! He is eating 3 ounces
: every 3 hours! I know speech told me to stop
: after a half hour but as a mom I want him to
: eat all he can! He is on the small side!
: Thanks in advance! Nice to have a message
: board to turn too.
