My daughter had the g tube put in at 2 months! I personally love it better than the ng tube. It doesnt get in the way like the other one and i dont have to insert thia one like i had to with the ng tube thru her nose. My daughter also has a cleft pakate on her soft palate. She will be having surgery this december to repair she will be 10 months old. They only agreed to do that since we are moving back to texas a month after that and she has a great plastic surgeon here so he wanted it done here. My daughter also had the jaw distraction when she was 2 months old it was emergency surgery after she had her g tube surgery she stopped breathing so it was needed. Ever since they brought her jaw out she been doing amazing! I am sure ur son will come to love the g tube over time! I didnt like the idea o it either but it is so much better for the baby!
