My 4 month old son has been spitting up up to half of his feedings at each tube feeding for almost 3 weeks. I use to use a bottle to do partial feeds, but now that as well he is not taking. It has now got to the point that he chokes on the nipple and then throws up. I have tried different formulas in hopes that the food would stay down. (I use to just use breast milk.) I found a lactose free formula that seems to be staying down! Thank God!! He has had this tube since birth and I wonder if anyone would recomend getting a g tube instead? Does anyone have any similar stories to share or advice?? I am at a loss and need help!
