Hi, I have a question for those of you whose children have had their palates repaired. My son will be getting his fixed in the next month and I wanted to know how many people's surgeons required their children to wear "no-no's" ie hand splint/restraints after their recover so they would not put any fingers or other objects in their mouths. My sons surgeon said its not necessary anymore to restrain them while his feeind specialist says it is necessary so they do not ruin the repair. Just checking to see what other doctors have had you do after the repair. Thanks!
