My 21month old daughter has prs and is scheduled for her soft cleft palate repair in 2 weeks. If anyone has any suggestions, tips advice or experiences that would be of any help, just to give me an idea of what we are in for and how long the hospital stay is. We have weaned the pacifer and I know she will not be allowed any solid food and will be wearing arm splints, we are leaving her g-tube in until after the surgery even though she has been drinking thick liquids now for 4 months. I am just very nervous, she had severe sleep apnea until she had her adenoids removed in Sept. then moderate sleep apnea in November and was cleared for the surgery by her pulmonologist, although her plastic surgeon wanted to wait a few more months to let her grow. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
