: We used the car bed for Ashley for the first
: couple of months until her breathing issues
: cleared up significantly and she was taken
: off her ng tube. We got ours (it is Cosco on
: I think)from the hospital (she was in the
: nicu for a week after birth and she could
: not be released to go home without the car
: bed). I think it cost us under 50 dollars.
: They also gave us a car seat challenge
: results form for insurance purposes if we
: wanted to try to recoup some of the cost
: from the ins. company.
:
: Is your son still in the hospital? They will
: probably issue you one. We still have ours.
: Not sure how soon you need it but if you
: have trouble getting one post again and let
: me know. Good luck with your son, hoping he
: continues to improve

: Just had baby boy 3 days ago diagnosed
: w/PRS.
: Has bilateral soft cleft palate issue &
: recessed chin. Rests best on his belly &
: side. Started feeding good today w/Dr. Brown
: bottle w/Pigeon valve in nipple. Good news!
: My one question is being that he doesn't do
: well breathing on his back, what kind of car
: seat does he go in? I heard about the car
: bed, has anyone had this issue? Thanks

: Gave birth to twins 2 1/2 weeks ago. Little girl was born with cleft-just soft palate area, chin is recessed and was also told it was because of positioning. We were not told anything about a different car seat. How would we know if we need one?
