Some of you may recall that this summer has been particularly rough for my daughter. She had her palatte repaired in May (14 months of age) and her tongue swelled up massively, jaw distraction in June which got a little crazy and her chin was not very symmetrical...Anyway, yesterday she had her jaw distractors removed and a bronch. Everything went perfectly. Her face is really looking symmetrical again and her ENT says our goal is to be trach free this summer! We are very excited and our little girl is running around, eating, and acting like she didn't even have surgery yesterday. Just wanted to share the good news! Thanks for all the support.
