Yes!
I asked a while back if any other kiddos had this but no one really responded. I'm still wondering the severity. His pectus is considered moderate on the scale of mild, moderate and severe. All the specialists have noted it since he was a couple weeks old but explained to me it was his "normal" now and not to worry. I believe there is a surgery for it later in life, but it is primarily cosmetic. I wouldn't sweat it but do all of his doctors know about it or are you the only ones noticing??? I think you should definiately bring it up so that it is noted, but again, it's no biggie. Let me know though if you know anything else about this condition.
Also, I'd like to mention my son has a sacral dimple. Does anyone else's child have this?? It was ulrasounded and turned out ok. You can see the floor to it which they said was also a good thing. I was just wondering the correlation, if any, to a syndrome or other condition if anyone knows.

: Hello again, so I have a new concern and am
: wondering if anyone else has an opinion, my
: husband and I have been concerned about our
: son's "sunken chest" and I have
: recently come across the medical term Pectus
: excavatum. I didn't realize that this was
: something that is associated with PRS. We
: believe his was caused by weeks of
: struggling to breathe and his chest
: retracting as a newborn. He had oxygen sats
: in the 80's & 90's for weeks until they
: finally put him on oxygen. His chest is not
: deeply sunken but it is noticeable. Does
: anyone have any advice as to specialists,
: testing, or procedures associated with this?
: I appreciate you help
