Hi Shadhiaa,
I know how overwhelming everything can be. I promise things do get easier with time. My daughter is 18 months old and smiling, vocalizing and using sign language, walking everywhere, dancing, and enjoying life. I wasn't sure we would ever get to this place, but we did. Although my daughter still has her trach we are hoping she won't need it much longer. In terms of helping your little guy gain weight, you might consider using a formula mixed at 24, 27, or 30 calories per ounce. Check with your doctor or dietician for help in figuring out if this might help. Hang in there!
